| This week brings important learning about temporal words and sequencing (first, next, then, last), measuring with standard units (a foot), and writing a report to finish off our frog study. In addition, we get to do several special things, as well! On Monday, we get to visit the local public library! If your child already has a library card, please send it along! On Wednesday, we will have PJ day, watch a movie, make gingerbread houses, and enjoy a visit from the high school carolers. Please join us for gingerbread house building from 12-1 on Wednesday. If you are unable to attend, feel free to send a grandparent or aunt/uncle. We ask that each family sends in one can of frosting, along with one other item from the list that was sent home (graham crackers, bag of candy, ice cream cones, or other items to decorate with). It will truly be a fun week! Remember that winter break begins Thursday, December 24, and school resumes on Monday, January 4. |
